Privacy Policy

Achieva ("we," "us," "our," "the platform") is an educational technology service built for students, parents, and schools in Bangladesh. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and Android app, how we use it, and the choices you have. Accounts are created on our website; the Android app is used to sign in to an existing account.

1. Who Operates Achieva

Achieva is currently built and operated by a small team based in Bangladesh. We are an early-stage platform; as we grow, we intend to formalize our company structure, and this policy will be updated accordingly.

2. Information We Collect

Account information (parent/guardian)

• Name, email address, and phone number (used as your login identifier)
• Password (stored hashed, never in plain text)
• Optional profile photo

Child profile information

• Child's name, class/grade, medium (Bangla Version, English Version, or English Medium) and, for school-linked students, school and roll number

Academic and usage data

• Exam attempts, answers, scores, and chapter-wise performance, used to power the progress tracking and analytics shown to you
• Support ticket contents, if you contact us for help

Payment records

• Subscription type, amount, payment method (bKash/Nagad/Bank/Cash), transaction ID, and payment date, submitted by you so we can verify a subscription
• We do not collect or store card numbers, bank credentials, or mobile wallet PINs. Payments are made directly through bKash, Nagad, or your bank, and you only share a transaction reference with us for manual verification.

Device information

• Basic technical data needed to operate the app (for example, that a request came from the Android app)
• We do not use any advertising ID, analytics SDK, or tracking library in the Android app.

3. Permissions Used by the Android App

The Achieva Android app requests only one permission: Internet access, required to communicate with our servers. The app does not request camera, location, storage, contacts, or any other sensitive device permission.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above only to:

• Create and manage your account and your children's profiles
• Deliver exam content, record attempts, and generate performance analytics
• Verify subscription payments and manage subscription status
• Respond to support requests
• Maintain the security and integrity of the platform (for example, preventing exam-related abuse)

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

The Android app uses the following third-party libraries strictly to operate core functionality:

• Retrofit / OkHttp, to communicate with our servers (all traffic is encrypted; unencrypted connections are not permitted)
• Glide, to load images (such as profile photos) from our servers

We do not integrate any advertising network, third-party analytics platform, or data broker in the app.

Hosting: Our website, servers, and databases are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which stores and processes data on our behalf solely to provide hosting. We do not use it, or anyone else, to share your data for advertising.

6. Children's Privacy

Achieva is used by parents and guardians to manage their children's academic accounts. Child profile information (name, class, exam results) is entered and controlled by the parent/guardian account holder, not created directly by a child through a separate account. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child without a parent or guardian's involvement.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us information outside of this intended flow, contact us at labbellcorp@proton.me and we will address it promptly.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

You can permanently delete a specific child's profile at any time from your account dashboard. This immediately and permanently removes that child's profile, exam attempts, and non-active subscription records.

You can also permanently delete your entire account from your profile page, which removes:

• Your account (name, email, phone, password)
• Every child profile linked to your account
• All exam attempts, chapter progress records, and subscriptions
• All support tickets you have submitted

Account deletion requires password confirmation and cannot be undone. Deletion through the dashboard is not available while a child has an active, verified subscription. In that case, please wait for the subscription to expire, or contact us at labbellcorp@proton.me and we will help you with your deletion request.

We may retain limited transaction records (such as payment amount, date, and method) where needed for accounting purposes.

8. Data Security

• All traffic between the app or website and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Unencrypted connections are not permitted.
• Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, never in plain text.
• Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate the platform (for example, moderators verifying a payment).

9. School-Linked Accounts

If your child is registered through a partner school, some of their academic data (such as attendance, exam results, and class assignment) may also be visible to authorized staff at that school, because the school-linked features are built for that purpose. This visibility is limited to your child's own school.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about your account and your children
• Correct inaccurate information through your profile settings
• Delete your child's profile or your entire account, as described in Section 7
• Contact us with any privacy question or concern

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Achieva grows, including once we complete formal company registration. We will update the effective date above when changes are made. Continued use of Achieva after a change means you accept the updated policy.
